An open church where the gospel changes lives.
We are EECD Lelystad, a Spanish-speaking Christian community in the heart of Flevoland. Here you're not a number, you're family.
Who we are today
Each week we gather to worship God, hear His word, pray for one another, and live as a spiritual family.
We're not a large congregation, and we like it that way: we know each other by name, carry each other's burdens in prayer, and celebrate the victories together.
Our pastors
Pastor Juan Carlos & Pastora Carmen
They lead EECD Lelystad with a pastoral, faithful, and present heart. Their calling is to see this community flourish, deeply rooted in Christ and sent out to serve the city of Lelystad.
What we believe
Our faith rests on three central convictions:
- The Bible is God's Word, the sole and sufficient authority for faith and practice.
- Salvation is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, and in Him alone.
- Baptism in water, by immersion, is for those who have believed and turned to Christ. A public step of obedience and commitment.
How we began
EECD Lelystad is part of the El Encuentro Con Dios family, an evangelical movement born in Amsterdam in 1989, founded by pastors Alejandro and Mayra López.
What started as a small group praying in an apartment is today a network of churches across the Netherlands, Spain, and beyond, all sharing the same mission: to carry the gospel and make disciples of Christ among all nations.
