Explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9)

A prayer request may reveal special-category personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): religious belief (asking a faith community to pray), health information (illness, recovery, mental health), or difficult family / financial circumstances (including those of third parties named or implied).

Processing these categories requires your explicit consent under GDPR Article 9(2)(a). By ticking the box below you confirm that you understand this and accept that we may process your request on this legal basis.

We retain your request for at most 90 days from submission. After that it is deleted automatically, unless you delete it earlier with the self-delete link we send by email — that link is valid for 30 days.

The pastoral team retains your email or phone number for those 90 days on the legitimate-interest basis of GDPR Article 6(1)(f), solely to confirm publication, contact you if your request indicates acute risk (self-harm, abuse) and let you exercise your GDPR rights. Your IP address is stored truncated (last octets dropped) as a data-minimization measure.

You may withdraw consent at any time via the self-delete link or by emailing info@eecdlelystad.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

I explicitly consent to processing under GDPR Article 9(2)(a) for special-category personal data.
